HB 130 has moved out of the Senate Education Committee and on to the Senate Floor for a vote.  Please contact your Senator today and urge support for the passage of HB 130.  The bill proposes

• Full-day public prekindergarten as opposed to half-day programs
• An established student:teacher ratio (1:11).  Texas is the only state currently offering public Pre-kindergarten without a student:teacher ratio
• Systems collaboration – Child Care, Public School and Head Start
